“Superb”
“disaster as I had to be up early for skydive, I would not stay again. not sure if it meets all legal”
Lets put it like this. If you are looking for a quiet peacful nights sleep ,DO NOT STAY HERE. The window was at street level and I mean street level the wheels of the cars passed directly past.the window, could not have window open for fresh air, shutters were slatted and so the car lights shone into the room. The bathroom was a shower tray with plastic curtains right next to the antique toilet No A/C no smoke alarm, no clear fire exits ,bars on window.
“If you’re visiting skydive Spain this premises is ideal!”
X2 British skydivers stayed. Spot on 5*
“Dark damp old house in Bollullos, with controlling host who is terrified of cost even modern lights.”
There was a friendly little cat
Left here after 3 nights (had booked 10). Issues of comfort, privacy, safety and new rules after arrival. Numerous issues but can't list all. For bathroom cross 2 rooms, then OUTDOORS along partially covered terrace. Exposure to outdoor temperatures. Walk through puddles if it is raining. Bathroom door wedged open at 90 deg and the host unable to move it because of the door catching on the floor. I could move it further but the door was too big to fit in the frame – door could not be closed. No privacy when in toilet or shower. Water for shower requires a minute or two lighting the gas pilot light. Water was usually tepid at best, occasionally suddenly cold, rarely warm and never hot. Flow rate was poor. Door wedged open in overnight temperatures and cool/tepid shower water meant shivering in the shower with cold each morning. Once the host switched off the gas heater when I was already in the bathroom (obsessed with saving fuel). The gas heater did not have a flue or chimney but was just outside uncloseable bathroom door. No Carbon Monoxide detector. A hot air blower in the bathroom, plugged into a socket within the water splash zone of the hand basin. Wiring appeared to be amateurish. Wires spliced together and covered only with insulating tape inside the bathroom (a permanently damp area). Amateur wiring elsewhere, e.g. in bedroom, with sign warning of risk of short circuit Toilet seat not attached to toilet. When flushed, water splashes over the seat and sometimes onto my feet (yuch!). New rules were introduced on my arrival & later. Allocated one specific bed and told I should not even put anything on the other bed. Not allowed to keep my case on the floor – had to be kept on top of wardrobe or stool. Bedroom window opened into kitchen. Sitting in kitchen could see into bedroom. Kitchen flooded after nighttime rain. House dim & dark with host terrified of cost of lighting. Stubbed toe & tripped down step in poor light.
