The villa is in a perfect location to enable you to get to most places within 30 minutes. The pool is secluded, and because there are no trees near it, you don't spend half the time scooping leaves out.

The sofa was not the most comfortable, but it served a purpose

“family of 4 adults, we loved the heated pool and lights”

The best

we paid the extra for the heated pool, which was great when it rained or when the wind was strong. sometimes it was warmer in the pool than out, so we still got to enjoy it. The CH Villa team were so helpful and quick to reply to any message I sent them. loved the swan towels on our bed when we arrived and the beach towel is supplied for the pool. And it was great having the washing machine, got all our washing done before heading home to the bad weather. Maybe consider making a little booklet to explain what to do with the pool if booked it as heated, for a novice like myself

To be improved

the villa needs a bit of updating, like the bug screens and curtain rails but nothing worth complaining about. The big drawback was the lack of taxis in the area, a lot of the bars and restaurants are a good walk away, which made walking home was not so enjoyable. The upstairs veranda wasn't as big as it looked in the pictures and the roof was a bit hazardous for my tall son's going up there, so we never sat up there but the view of the lake was lovely

The double sheet did not fit on the bed so the matress kept curling up at the ends. Dated outside table and chairs which were rusting. The pool was dirty , murky and green. Could not swim in it.

If nit picking , washing machine could be more energy efficient, took a long time to do a cool wash, these days most machines have 30min cycle
