Chalet en Puerto Marina

Good location. Lots of space and very clean. Very safe and secure. Great chalet and great outdoor space and parking if you had a car. All the amenities as well.

Fantastic location, a little gem, quirky, with some great features, loved the internal door

Good points: Quirkiness and charm of the property, lovely pieces of furniture and beautiful wooden entrance door that looked like it was out of a castle. Can't think of any equipment that wasn't provided, Cava, Water and lots of other teas, coffees and condiments at the property on our arrival, probably left by others but very pleased to see they don't throw it away and leave it for next guests. Off-road parking and the feeling of security is nice too. Host very helpful before and on arrival. Great location both minutes from marina and top of town. Bad points: Property felt slightly damp and our clothes felt damp from being in wardrobe, and ensuite to bedroom had alot of black mould which further suggests it's damp and not at all healthy to those with lung conditions such as asthma. Cleanliness is my number 1 priority in accomodation but as I have worked in an infection control role in the past I might be particularly fussy. With a bit of elbow grease and bleach this could be sorted and should be removed. My husband didn't sleep as coughed so much whilst here, we'd stayed in 3 other properties on our multi city trip and only had this happen here. We only had 2 nights booked so we put up with it, but if it'd been a longer stay we would have had no choice to find alternative accommodation. Most of the doors are creaky and water pipes are noisy but I suppose thats part of the charm of the building, but as a middle aged woman who gets up at least twice a night for the bathroom, it would have woken up others if we'd been a bigger number of guests. One of the sofas was constantly covered in ants (there was a sign saying not to leave food out which we didn't and only ate food at dining table). Couldn't get hot water to flow into the sink in ensuite so had to wash hands in cold water which isn't ideal for hygiene.
