The view was amazing. The most excellent part was - there were no surrounding neighborhood - just you and the mountains! The property is really good - we were there during the rather cold period but it wasn't a problem - the chalet has well operated heating system. There is a really nice well kept garden with lemon and avocado trees, palms... .
No comments - we were satisfied.
“What a view!!!”
Beautiful villa in even more beautiful location!! I mean the views were outstanding. Would be better to fill up the big villa and its space with more visitors but it was definitely one of the biggest highlights of our visit to Gran Canaria.
The old wardrobes in rooms seemed to crack a lot so it sometimes felt like a haunted house haha
“Terrible”
There was a power cut and no electricity from 20 pm one ice cold evening. When we called the property, there was only an answering machine in the other end. It was impossible to get in contact with anyone responsible for the property and there was no emergency phone number. The property is located in a remote area with no other houses nearby, and it is was very cold in the mountains at this time. A powercut is therefore potentially dangerous and it is a huge problem that there are no emergency contact possibilities. Further, both before and after this incident, the host failed to respond to our questions regarding practical matters concerning the stay.
“Very good”
The location (such a beautiful view!) and the amount of space in the house (we could have had plenty more guests!)
A bit cold on the first day due to the unexpected bad weather but the host arranged for the heating to be turned on the day after. The tv was malfunctioning but the host had called in for repairmen to try to fix it (without success as they needed to do a bigger fix). We didn’t really need it so it didn’t bother us that much
“Not a house for cooler months”
Wonderful views. A nice, a bit wild garden with a pool although it was too cold to use. A big open fireplace.
The house has no indoors dining table, a weird breakfast bar setup with no-one facing each other. The table is outside, not nice in the rain. Shutters rattle and some of them can't be opened. The bedrooms are very unequal - not ideal for 2 couples who share the price. The owner didn't tell me this or that the walk into Tejeda is approx an hour long (not 20 minutes max as I was told) on a very busy road. There were no provisions, not even salt or oil. The washing machine was in a locked scullery and the person to open it came 2 days after our arrival. So, maybe this house is fine in the summer for a family but we felt really disappointed.
