“Safe choice but with room for improvement.”

Location is perfect if you are traveling without a car. The owner of the house was very polite, responsive and helpful. Acceptable price/quality ratio.

To be improved

The building door was a bit difficult to open. There is a camera in front of the door, which records ins and outs but it gives a feeling of lack of privacy. Both these aspects were informed to us when the keys were given. We faced some difficulties when taking a shower, it clogged quickly and there was other people's hair in the bathtub. The apartment had areas that were not clean (where the dust was visible). Also, the coffee machine had a capsule inside from the previous customers... The bedsheet on was strange, it didn't cover all the way up. There are windows on the ceiling that cannot be covered and the light (and outside sound) comes on. Something that could be improved. These are aspects that were told to the owner, and we hope they are improved for the next customers. Nonetheless, it was a safe and acceptable choice for our weekend!

“I recomend this place for 2 person stay.”

The best

From beginning of our reservation we had very easy contact/fast replies - email/whatss up. I did travel with 15 years daughter. 2 min from Metro, but we walked in to all places. Good location! Calm place and calm neighbours. This is clean, small apartment - inside is all what you need. We did feel safe in apartment. Easy access, host was waiting for us and clearly informed about rules. From Sunday the room was already booked for next tourists. Only Saturday night we did ask, if there is possibility to extent our "Sunday's check out time" and use room longer for us and our personal staff. Host verified check in with other tourists and accepted us to use room till 3pm. This was very convenient! No additional payments. Apartment is on 2nd floor. During our visit (February) aircondition did work well ( possibility to set required temperature) - good temperature inside of the room.

To be improved

In Lavapies leave many immigrants, so for some pepole this could be "new things" to see them so often.

“Clean and economical stay in a vibrant area of Madrid.”

Clean with new kitchen and bathroom. First impressions of the area weren’t good but our stay was fine. We did see some anti social behaviour in the square but mostly the area is filled with students, other travellers and young professionals. We didn’t have any problems. Flat was well secured and I had undisturbed sleep. Handy to have washing machine and drying rack Close to cafes and supermarkets

To be improved

3 sets of stairs Not good if you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues The sloping roof means you can’t stand up straight on that side of flat
