The location was perfect, allowing easy access to various attractions.
Our host, Paula, was excellent and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall a perfect stay with a great host and amenities.
The house was very clean and well presented.
Standard quality for this hotel tier.
Well stocked with everything you would need.
“I would definitely stay here again and would also highly recommend to others.”
Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Excellent views across the rooftops of Alicante out to sea from the balcony. Clean and tidy and well stocked with everything you would need. Air conditioning was a godsend. Our host, Paula, was excellent also. From quickly and politely answering any questions to providing photos and videos of bus stop and route to the house and also for allowing us to check in early as we had an early flight.
The only downside would be the location if you had mobility problems. Access to the street is via a steep hill on one side and lots of steps on the other. Not a problem for us but would be a struggle for people with mobility issues.
“Absolutely perfect”
The house was in perfect location for us. We could walk everywhere, to the town, restaurants, shops, beach, the castle, the market or pick up the tram to go further along the coast. The house itself was very well presented and also very well equipped. The host was very helpful and also during our weekly stay she made sure that we had everything what we needed.
Nothing significant
“No sleep 1possible”
House was cute.
The noise was unbearable, locals were setting up a bar/ kitchen/ stage right outside the property for a festival. There was lots of shouting and loud music through the night. We booked 5 nights but had to move out after 2 nights as we had no sleep. We were not informed of all the disruption before booking or arrival. The owner was not helpful.
“Relaxing break but smell from the drains not pleasant”
Lovely location with great view
Smell from the bathroom
“Perfect accommodation for a city/beach stay”
Quirky little apartment set in the hills just underneath the castle. It's on two levels with the bathroom and large bedroom on ground floor and living area and kitchen on first floor. Kitchen is well appointed with pretty much everything you'll need for cooking including cooking oil, herbs, spices, salt and pepper, decent knives, kettle, pans, effective hob etc. The apartment also has a shopping trolley, washing machine with pods and dishwasher, iron/board, clothes rack. I keep finding new things; they've pretty much thought of everything. The bedroom is huge and has a very large, soft mattress. The area is very pretty. You'll see group tours walking through and looking at the area/taking photos as it's quaint and photogenic with the castle on the hill in the background. The shower is hot and water plentiful and they've provided shower gel/shampoo etc for you. There's a cute terrace where you can enjoy your coffee on a morning and read a book later in the afternoon in the sunshine, really peaceful. The location is excellent! It's close to bus stops and the tram stop is around 5 minutes away but you don't get any traffic noise because of its location in the hill. There's no TV for info, I bright my laptop and watched Netflix. There's a great indoor market with all sorts of meats and fish, fruits and veg a 5 minute walk down the hill - it's terrific, only closed on a Sunday. There's also a nice little bakery at the bottom of the hill on the left at the bottom of the hill with lovely pastries and fresh bread and the staff are friendly with foreigners! And next to that a typical mini mart where you can get all necessities including milk, bread, a small selection of veg etc etc. You're in walking distance of Alicante including the harbour, beach and major stores, bullring, ice cream Parlours, restaurants etc etc. Paula is responsive, friendly and really helpful on WhatsApp if you have any queries.
Probably the only negative is the sofa isn't the comfiest or the biggest, but I think it's also a sofa bed so perhaps this is why and perhaps a lamp for ambience but these are minor things overall and certainly not a reason to avoid this place.
“Wonderful house - amazing view”
Perfect place for a couple. Good bed. Terrace was amazing, too.
