“Good”
great location, very nice service
The sofa bed for sleeping is very uncomfortable. You have to leave the pool at 2:30 p.m. for 2 hours because it is closed.
“Lovely week felt like home from home”
Perfect location, Marisol who dealt with the property was very friendly and a very good host. Apartment was spotless bright and homely
The sofa bed was my only minor negative uncomfortable with all the metal but not a big complaint.
“Superb”
“Disappointment in the studio made worse by Nerja's chronic shortage of parking.”
We were met with unfailing courtesy by the agent, even when we sinned by losing our set of studio keys (subsequently found) and her having to meet us late at night with the spare keys. Everything in the apartment was very clean, and all the equipment worked very well, including the wifi. Except as noted below, the description of this studio was literally correct. However, it was very disappointing.
Access involved a flight of steps (with no handrail) from the street and then walking to the lift through building works in progress. We had no option but to ignore the posted health-&-safety requirements and the ban on people not working there. Until our last few days there were tripping hazards, the lift having to be accessed by walking on planks, and unprotected sharp edges on the way to the lift. To pay for our stay we had a 10-minute walk to the agency for the letting. To access the pool and garden we needed to go past workmen via the street and down more steps. On arriving at the pool there was a notice restricting opening hours severely and saying that only two people from each floor of the building could use it at the same time. We had no idea who people were from our floor; there was very little shade around the pool. The balcony was fully enclosed, apart from small opening widows. The bamboo shutters proved impossible to roll back up again. The garden-&- pool view was restricted – most of the view was backs of other buildings and a (full) car parking area.. Until we complained reported about flooding of the floor no-one told us to empty regularly a primitive arrangement for collecting condensation from the air-conditioning. We needed to ask for dinner plates, a bread knife and two further mugs. The studio was not serviced during our week there. We didn’t know it would not be serviced before going, and had we known we would have taken enough washing powder to wash the towels. The Booking.com entry promised “sofa” and “sofa bed”, but these were one item, not two. We found no “drying rack for clothing” or “clothing rack” as advertised, apart from a washing line outside. The property offered no parking; it came as an unpleasant surprise how difficult it was to park in Nerja. One night we had to pay €22 after spending an hour just driving round streets and car parks.
