“Cons: The villa was not as described, unfortunately the experience was disappointing due to misleading information. • The garage mentioned in the listing is extremely small and does not fit a regular sedan, which was not clearly stated. • The lift was out of service the entire stay, even though it was advertised as available. I contacted the host, and she acknowledged both issues and promised compensation, including reimbursement for public parking. I sent all receipts, but after weeks of follow-ups, I never received any refund. The communication was poor, and there was no real effort to resolve the matter. I wouldn’t recommend this villa if you’re expecting accurate amenities or reliable follow-up from the host.”

It was black-out day. Not your fault. But we had to pick up the key somewhere ??? Were you afraid of the dark? In the villa no candle, a weird coffee machine with no coffee. The mention Parking free is wrong as we could’t use it because we had a too big car.

“Lovely, characterful house with wonderful views of the mountains.”

The best

We loved the decor in the house. The generous balcony had the most amazing view of the mountains - especially as they were covered with snow. The house is large with four floors so it was helpful having a lift which could be used for our luggage. It was great having a washing machine with dryer. At first sight, the street where Villa Gloria is situated looks a bit run down but it became apparent that the area is slowly being improved. There was noise in the street during the day but it was quiet by bedtime. The house is well situated, being close to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. There is a bus stop one road up from the house from which regular buses run to the Alhambra.

To be improved

We had some problems with the individual guest check in form which indicated that it needed to be filled in before we arrived. We were confused by the request for a second surname and made an error. I sent them a message but received no answer. I then phoned and was told they would send me a new form but we were just sent the form with the mistake on it. Some more communication from them would have helped my stress levels. It might be a good idea to have some recommendations for good restaurants, where the closest grocery shop is, what sights there are to see, instructions for how to operate appliances etc.

“Very good choice for families with children”

Perfect location in the hart of the city, very well equipped with all necessary appliances, very clean like my mother's house with a wonderful terrasse to enjoy a late drink. It even has an elevator for older people who dislike stairs.

To be improved

I have no negative comments for the apartment. everything was perfect. The only thing that would make my life easier was to be notified to avoid reaching the apartment with our car. We were a company of two families travelling with a van. This van was to big to be driven in the narrow allays. Although the owner tried to warn me with a message, it was not so clear to me, that by no means I should park my car in the closest available parking. Not only the size of our vehicle but also the height of it which was almost 2,1 m high limited our parking options around the neighborhoods.

“Amazing home, consider a new property manager...”

The accomodations are absolutely lovely! Very cute and comfortable.

To be improved

There was a specialty coffee maker (Nespresso Vertuo) but no coffee pods were left, nor could we find them at a couple of grocery stores. Eventually we were told we could pick some up at the property management office, which was kind ... but on day 2 of our 3 morning stay. The House is perfect, property management could up their game a bit. Also, the location was accurate according to the listing. It's about a 10 - minute walk further south. Lastly, we paid by bank transfer but then the property management canceled the reservation on booking a few days after we got home, seemingly in a effort to save the Booking.com commission. Just a bit shady. When you have such a lovely home, don't let property management sell you short.
