“Location, location, location ! A hotel literally in the middle of everything but on a quiet side street”
The best

The absolutely best aspect of the hotel is location - It is located on a rather quiet side street just off Plaza del Callao. But the hotel is really in the middle of everything. Just a round the corned or a short walk away you have the main Plazas, Grand Via, Shopping, everything. Taxis and Bolt have an easy and fast access, but they are not allowed outside the hotel. You will have to walk 50 m uphill to the entrance. Did not bother us at all, but good to know. The rooms are very modern, clean and functional. Nothing extra but that was not expected either. Some strange things though: You have an empty mini-fridge in the room and a complimentary water waiting for you. BUT: the water carafe is so big it doesn't fit in the fridge. So when arriving in the room (with temperatures in Madrid around +36), the water on the table was +25.... No complaint - just wondering why.

“Great hotel, checks all the boxes, wills tay again”
The best

Great location, comfy and large room, lots of places for hanging clothes and keeping suitcase. Work area, fridge, sturdy door to the toilet, very welcoming staff, housekeeping arrived one minute after my call to reception with everything I asked for. Aircon works, windows open. Perfect combination

To be improved

Nothing, all was great, though a coffee machine and/or teapot would have made this perfect.
