The best

The location for the flat was perfect for our holiday weekend break. The entrance is just off the Fuencarral and you're within an area that's filled with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, and you're only a 5 minute walk to 3 good subway stations. The flat itself is still very cozy and comfortable. Great layout and a few neat design features. The little terrace at the entrance was a nice bonus, but could definitely do with a patio umbrella in the July Madrid heat. It was still a nice place to come back to and relax, after a day sightseeing, or after dinner. Everything is so close. This was more than convenient. We felt completely comfortable and safe here.

To be improved

Mixed feelings about this place. The garbage from the restaurant, stored in the entrance, makes the first impression not so nice. And it smells a bit. But then you go through the entrance to the flat and it's really nice. There is noise from the restaurant and the main street, but this is just something that often comes with such a location. It was surprisingly not so noisy at night with the windows closed. The flat is super cozy, but shows some visible signs of wear & tear. A few touch-ups would make it more than just nice. It could be really lovely.

“Beware this property!!! - we were robbed of deposit”

The location, albeit front rooms were woken at 4:30am with street cleaners

To be improved

Gaining keyless access was tricky, although we were talked through it. A surprise 650 euro deposit was requested last minute, we reported a small piece of accidental damage, nearly 3 weeks later I’ve not heard back or received a balance…..in fact they have blocked my message Total disgrace, will need to take this up with booking.com, but wouldn’t recommend using this apartment / company as they have basically robbed us of deposit
