“Very nice apartment in an excellent location”

The best

This 2 bedroom apartment was fully equipped with everything needed for our 4 night stay. The location is excellent, just around the corner from the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and public transport. There was good communication from the host before arrival and they met us at the apartment to check in. The apartment is pleasantly decorated and comfortable. Complimentary refreshments on arrival were a very nice surprise. The air conditioning worked well and was needed during the Barcelona heatwave. My family would stay here again.

To be improved

The apartment is in a residential area and there are signs around the area asking to be quiet and respectful to the residents but there was quite a bit of noise late at night from people leaving bars, etc.

“Cosy small apartment near the beach in excellent location.”

The best

The location of the apartment is excellent, under 5 mins walk to Barcelonetta beach and sea promenade. Bakery and supermarket just round the corner. Lots of food options and shops nearby. City centre (Gothic quarter and El Born) within walking distance of 20 minutes. Apartment is small but cosy, clean, sunny. Has all amenities needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. Host Joan even prepared 4 coffee capsules, a bottle of water and a bottle of Cava for us before we arrived. Shower has good pressure. The flat has a nice small balcony, too.

To be improved

The apartment is on 4th floor without elevator, accessible only by quite narrow staircase. It has a nice vibe but is not suitable for people with limited movement abilities.
