Really great apartment in a fabulous location. Plenty of room.

To be improved

Had to pick up keys at another location, which was inconvenient. (Clearer information on what floor of the building the office was located also would have helped.) Extra taxes (for linen?!)

The plan was mainly just to sleep over but unfortunately all family got sick and we stayed full day in the appartment. We didn't like that appartment is quite dark (maybe that's not problem if you stay in summer), The bedroom window points to some small inner space of the building used for item storage. The bedroom bed wasn't very comfortable and you can't fully open or close bedroom door as bed gets in the way. The TV is not good, I still don't understand how we managed to turn on youtube or how to navigate menu :). In general appartment looks much better in the photos Also I didn't like that i was repeatedly asked to pay in third party website.

“Large apartment in excellent location.”

The apartment is very large and well equipped with a washing machine, a toaster, a toaster oven, a kettle and an nescafe coffee machine. The balcony is a very nice place to enjoy a morning coffee while looking out into the busy streets and sidewalk and a great view of the port area. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and once the balcony doors were closed, the apartment was very quiet considering the location. The location was excellent and right at the entrance of the Gothic quarters, a short walk to Barceloneta beach and just across from the port. We also walked to la Rambla and many interesting parks. There are two metro stops just a short walk away. The staff we dealt will responded quickly and professionally.

To be improved

Accessing the keys was complicated as we had to either go pick ithem up a 20 minute walk away or wait for someone to meet us after 6:30 in the evening. Also, the tax fee and linen fee was high in my opinion and it was complicated to make the payment since our credit card company needs to send a 2 step verification code which does not work when we are using a different SIM card. We ended up going to a bank, and depositing the amount directly in the account provided. It would be nice to have the option to be able to just leave the cash with the person delivering the keys.
