Apartment was a good size and view was really nice. Lovely pool and manicured gardens. Very quiet area. Great place to relax

To be improved

Settee was dirty and very uncomfortable. Please buy a new one. Bed was round and far too big for the room making it hard to access the wardrobe. Why the quirky bed? Sheets and quilt didn’t fit on it.Not sure why a normal bed can’t be there. Pillows were minuscule and the spares were full of lumps. Please buy an assortment of pillows. The cost to stay at this apartment is not cheap so there definitely needs to be a bit more thought about what guests need.

Claudia was a super host – very attentive and efficient with her responses. Access to the apartment was very easy with clear and precise instructions provided the day before. The accommodation was fantastic for our needs. It is located circa 15mins walk from the centre which we wanted as we stayed during the Santa Tecla Festival, and knew it would be quieter. If necessary, you could always get a bus (Numbers 8 & 13) just outside the apartment block which takes 7/8mins into the centre. One day during our stay we got a bus (Number 12) to La Móra beach and walked back along the coast which was amazing. The facilities such as WiFi, TV, power shower etc were all working good. We loved having breakfast every morning on the balcony, and enjoyed our swim later in the day. The pool is not heated but you warm up quick enough; we were the only ones in the block who actually used it. There was an issue with the aircon unit but Claudia had it repaired very quickly. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quite apartment on the edge of the city with access to a balcony and a swimming pool.

“Beautiful setting, a few small tweaks away from perfection!”

We really liked the location; very quiet, wide roads lined with bougainvillea and roses. We looked out onto the swimming pool/lawn area which was beautifully landscaped with pretty plants/trees. The bathroom has clearly had a recent update (based on some previous reviews), and there is now a big powerful shower with fully enclosed screen. The kitchen provided decent facilities. Also, we didn't use the buses but, if you might need them, two bus routes stop at or very near to the apartment complex. (If memory serves correctly, I think they were numbers 8 and 13), otherwise, it's about a 15 min lovely stroll into Tarragona.

To be improved

The air conditioning kept breaking down. Claudia was excellent, very communicative and sent an engineer very quickly, but it just did not work (only for a while on silent mode, but this did not cool the apartment and it was uncomfortably hot, especially at night). The bed: although I know bed comfort is very individual and others may love it. We saw it was round on the photos and didn't mind, until we got there. It takes up a huge amount of space in the bedroom and makes it hard to move around/look in the wardrobe. There were only 2 small pillows for this huge bed - need more. Also, just a word of warning for anyone tall or with a bad back/knees - the bed it very low so some may struggle getting up! The kitchen looked a little tired: the vinyl that had been applied to cover the cupboards and drawers was peeling off

Was only 10/15 mins walk uphill from the Old Town. In a nice area. Property manager very obliging and at the end of a WA.

To be improved

Perhaps its worth mentioning to future clients that traffic wardens are active in the area. Excellent location to visit this great city.
