“Disappointed!”
The first thing I would like to say is, this is MY opinion on MY experience! Postives first, location great, staff great, cleanliness great, food ok acceptable, Major negative for me was the lack of any English entertainment the whole week, all the introductions was in Spanish so had no idea what was going on and I've never felt so out of place and uncatered for! Now before everyone is shouting "what do you expect your in Spain" my answer to that is, if I wanted rural and authentic Spanish I would not choose Benidorm, the main reason I chose Benidorm is because they cater for both the Brits and the Spanish and I love a bit of both, so if the entertainment would have been 50/50 that would not have been a problem! The next big negative for me, was the pool was covered and you had to wear swim caps, this I was a big no no for me, if I would have known that I would not have booked this hotel!!!! Last of the negatives, no breakfast tea bags in room or restaurant, no mugs or cups only polystrene cups and wooden sticks for spoons, so all in all not my cup of tea and not an enjoyable holiday!
“Excellent Hotel”
I Cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff are very friendly and helpful the rooms are immaculate and the food is excellent .The location is perfect just on the edge of the old town,we will definitely be back again
“Nice Hotel and would go back”
Booked 4 nights 31st March-4 April 2026 half board. The location is excellent and in the old town. The hotel has a very pleasant feel about it and it cannot be faulted for cleanliness. The food was excellent and I was surprised it was hot as the other hotels I have been at the food was always warm. Food selection was good and something for everyone. I upgraded my room and got room 7014 (7th floor) so you get a very good view of Benidorm with partial sea view. Standard rooms must be lower floors? Maid service was great. English TV was BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, ITV2 but BBC channels kept pixelating. Wifi in the hotel was excellent (137Mbps down, 166Mbps up- geeks like me will know what it means ;-) ) There is a side road on the left that takes you downhill into a busy area with coffee place, McDonalds and bars. The noise level in the main was good however we got guest next door to us that must have thought we would like to hear their music given the volume of it? Very quiet at night though. Bed were very comfy. Restaurant staff and Maid service were excellent. The reception staff were not as attentive as I would have liked but given I was not dealing with them that many times it was not an issue. It would perhaps be worth management telling them a telephone call is not more important than the person standing in front of you as the staff member left me standing while he took a phone call. Maybe I should have phoned him whilst standing in front of him? The hotel is well located, staff are in the main a credit to the hotel and I would definitely return. One thing I did not like is the hotel initially was going to charge 6 euro a day to charge a mobility scooter but this was reduced to 3 euros. The Agua Azul across the road do not charge anything to charge scooters. Also the drop off from the airport is called the Agua Azul (not the Benidorm Plaza) but on getting off the bus the Benidorm Plaza is just across the road and if you cannot see it you should get yourself to Specsavers ;-)
“Nice friendly clean hotel”
Hotel in great location, close to beach, shops and restaurants. Very clean and staff are very helpful. Evening entertainment is good. We had a small dog but we could only have him in our room and in the reception area which was not ideal as we would not leave our dog on its own in the room. It would have been nice to be able to take him on the bar outside terrace. I would not recommend the hotel for taking dogs.
“Worthy of the 4 star rating!”
We arrived here for a 4 night stay and found the hotel very good. The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The food and choices was good and well presented. Rooms were done to good standard. Very comfortable beds and maid service every day. Hotel was in quiet place and is highly recommended. Good location for old town.
“Was okey but wouldn’t rush back plenty of better hotels”
The hotel overall is ok staff a friendly enough but the bathroom is tiny especially if you get the corner room as I was given and charged 60 euros more for the pleasure and whoever can Up with making the floor red 🙈anyway bed was comfortable enough walls Are paper thin and the cleaner in the morning as no consideration in throwing everything around the room next door ….. but the worst part of the lot was the food It was shocking I have never been to a hotel that the food was so bad nothing is even cooked for you except a few eggs on the side and the chef just stands there doing nothing ….. sorry for the honestly in this review but it’s the only way you will change the food it cost me 100 euros a day just not to get food poisoning
