It was absolutely beautiful- the pictures don’t do it justice.

To be improved

The air conditioning didn’t work. When I contacted them after night 1 stating that it wasn’t working, they did not respond until 8pm (after 6 messages were sent via booking.com and WhatsApp)- this was their response: “We are sorry about the AC, but these machines are new and work very well. What happened yesterday is not our fault because some clients used the AC in Heat mode and this affected the 5 machines that were nearby. To solve it today we went into all the rooms to see where the problem was and we solved it. Today the AC is working fine. Thank you for your understanding.” It still didn’t work for the remainder of the stay and no one checked or came to fix it. The only reason we booked this accommodation and paid more for it was because of the aircon - it’s peak summer time.

“Extremely central in the Gothic quarter. Easy access to all the major attractions and supermarkets and the airport bus station. Nice to have a balcony. Comfortable bed. Good value for Barcelona. · Cons: Small bathroom. Common area really only suitable for eating food as there is not a lot of crockery and just a microwave. For some reason we thought it was a bed and breakfast and wondered where our breakfast was on the first morning. Word of warning breakfast is not included. Room is pretty tight if you have a lot of stuff.”
