"Close to the sky": apartment surrounded by beaches

If people walk past through the corridor you can hear them quite clearly. We spent most of our time out and sleep with earplugs so it wasn't an issue for us and isn't a fault of the apartment but rather the building design itself.

Having to wait till our flight got there for check in details, it got a bit concerning.

I would not recommend staying in this apartment as we had an awful experience. I would first say the family next door are permanent residents and they hit their child to the point where the child is screaming and throwing tantrums at early hours in the morning. This apartment also had ants everywhere!!!!! The sofa bed arm was basically hanging off which wasn’t really an issue but it’s not ideal. The reception or the man downstairs was awfully rude too. Also didn’t help that we only had one set of keys meaning we’d all have to be together to get into apartment. Another issue we had with the apartment was the location was not clear what’s so ever it states on the website it’s called “close to the sky apartments” and we got completely lost looking for this as it was actually called playa Honda. Also didn’t help that the host was not the best with her responding on the booking.com platform. I wouldn’t say this is somewhere to stay if you’re going on holiday as you go to relax and every morning there is screaming and shouting. My last point is we were playing music at 9:30/10 and we got told by the man downstairs that people were complaining and that he was going to call the police. We apologised and said we didn’t know it wasn’t allowed. However the night after on the other side of the apartment was young boys which came in about 4am and smashing what sounded like glass and screaming and shouting for over 2 hours and nothing was said to them, it seems to be one rule for one and one rule for another.
