Bedroom was way too small. U had to be so careful getting around end of bed as there was no space. Shower hose was not on wall when we arrived and when u put it up it fell down. Telly was not working . I told them in plaza estate on sat am and we left We’d at 10 and we had not heard back. This was a real inconvenience for my husband as he can’t walk far but had to get out to watch matches and other items of his interests. Chairs were very small both inside and balcony. Disappointed after all our holidays in Nerja since 1989 at least 44 visits.

Location . Really easy to walk to sights, cafes , restaurants and bars . Parking if you could find a space was a tight fit . Nice touch was a welcome bottle of wine. Instructions were very clear and contact was good.

To be improved

The kitchen sink plug didn’t fit and no bowl supplied so very difficult to wash up without the water constantly running away. It was a bit of a shock to be asked to secure booking with a credit card for the £150 deposit as this was not mentioned on booking . Hopefully nothing will be taken as no breakages . We were asked to leave keys in property but if we had done this without thought we would not have been able to exit car park as there was a fob on the keys to exit.

The location is fantastic. The apartment is situated about halfway from the seafront and the Balcon de Europe in Nerja. Lots of excellent restaurants of all types within easy walking of the property. The bedroom had a balcony which overlooked the garden and swimming pool and was sunny from about 3.00 PM until 5.30 PM (During End February to end of March). On the 6th floor there is a very large communal roof terrace which is wonderful. The owner left us a nice bottle of wine and water with his compliments which was a very thoughtful. We bought 2 folding chairs at a local Chinese shop, and took them up to the terrace when the weather was nice. Dora, the owner's assistant met us with the keys on arrival and had kindly done some essential shopping for us, as we arrived late evening. She was available on the phone or by text message if we needed anything, which was great. Thank you

To be improved

Some of the furniture is old and well worn. I had to reset and tighten the left bedroom wardrobe cupboard door, so that I could open the top drawer underneath. I had to repair the bathroom shower support which came apart. Fortunately, there were some tools in the flat including screwdrivers which was handy.

We absolutely loved the apartment. It was easy to find, was extremely well-appointed, comfortable, quiet, everything that was advertised and more. The managing agency was fantastic, so helpful and friendly and just lovely. Enjoyed the bottle of local wine and water gifted. So lovely to walk in and find that together with a welcome note. Very central to everything, not too far from the bus stations. Very close to the beach, restaurants, markets, shops etc. Everything within walking distance and buses close by to take you to the sights. Loved every second of our stay and highly recommend it. Don't look anywhere else, stay here, so well worth it. Many thanks for your hospitality.

No communication regarding accessing the property, the exact location etc. Walked around with suitcases for over an hour at 1 am before landing to contact owner and get key code to access property and identify where we were stating our ID 4 buildings
