We came in late June/early July, during the heat wave, but the temperatures were pleasant both during the day and night (10 to 15 C lower than in other parts of spain at the same time) , attributable probably to its location (relatively close to the strait of gibraltar and in the forest)... Fairly sized pool with shallow and deep end (although if I'm not mistaken one must go back to his/her cabin for toilet, but the cabins are not far away).... Located in the forest, cabins are surrounded with greenery of all kinds, very peaceful, natural vibes.... All windows have mosquito nets so you can have fresh air circulating all the time....

To be improved

1) very small and impractically positioned TV 2) there was a bit of a smell in the main area, but no big deal if the windows are open most the time (not sure how it would feel with windows closed though, e.g. in spring or fall)

We sent numerous notes saying we were arriving on foot(we are hiking a long route) and asking about restaurants for dinner. We were assured there were open restaurants. The person who checked us in suggested we walk into town and look for an open restaurant. I said, we just walked 27km and don’t care to do that. Eventually we had to twist his arm to call a few restaurants to see if they were open. Really lousy customer service. All he needed to do was offer to call. Then the upset would have been avoided. For 100 euros they could have supplied 4 vs3 coffee pods.
