We found the lane a bit tricky with our small hire car so I’d recommend a 4x4 if renting and you’re hoping to get your deposit back.

The best

A charming place. Very quiet and peaceful. The hosts are very warm, helpful and caring. Perfect place for someone who wants to get off the grid. The surroundings are amazing. A perfect place for someone who wants to see the really dark sky full of stars and hear the sounds of nature around you. The wider area (three nature parks, beautiful hills and coast) is a perfect location for nature based tourism (birdwatching, hiking, cycling).

To be improved

The dirt road from the tarmac road to the farm is quite challenging and it is better to have a car with a bit more ground clearance. As the farm is virtually off the grid, some items are missing (such as a hairdryer), which would not be a problem if clearly stated in the description.

We loved being hosted by this wonderfull hard working family on their eco farm. We met their Goats, cuddled them and visited the river at their land. Unforgetable! We made memories that will last a lifetime
