Check in was from 2pm. I got there at 230pm and no one was there. I sent a message and was advised they would be back at 5pm. This should have been communicated prior to me arriving if timing was an issue. Thankfully the son turned up and could check me in. The restaurant advertised is not open, when I asked about dinner I was laughed at, and told to go to town after 8pm. The restaurant was all set up with tables set, and big signs everywhere advertising it. There was then a lot of furniture being moved around the property later in the evening - if they were getting ready to shut down for the season, that’s totally fine, but it would be appreciated if advised before. The father also advised you have to turn the shower on and let the water heat up. I turned the shower on for ten mins and no hot water eventuated.
