“An Oasis of Tranquil Comfort”

This hotel made our trip. Just very thoughtfully designed, appointed and staffed. Sure it is beautiful and has a great location, but the rooms are soundproofed and I slept better here than at home (which is uncommon for me at 49). Oscar should be promoted, given a raise, and allowed to host “Mexican Nights with Oscar” in the restaurant.

“This must be the place! Always here!”

This is such a beautiful hotel, prime location, extraordinary staff in the hotel and the restaurant! Where to start? My sister and daughter stayed at other four star hotels in Madrid and we would compare spots. First, the staff always went the extra step here. Remembering names, assisting in any way possible, attentive to detail and always friendly and engaging if we wanted any suggestions. Even the turndown staff! The room was spectacular! We backed onto the courtyard and it was quiet. The bedding, mattress, pillows, towels, toiletries, furniture - all lovely and luxurious. The location was walking distance from museums, restaurants, markets, shopping! We only used a taxi to the airport. The restaurant was delicious! We had dinner, drinks, breakfast and again - fantastic staff and service! Just so thoughtful and kind. I hope if you’re fortunate enough to be visiting Madrid, book a room at Cool Rooms Palacio Atocha. Order what I considered the VERY BEST SANGRIA (my research will be published shortly;) in Madrid at the restaurant and enjoy what I consider the best hotel experience I have had in a very long while. Thanks so much to everyone! We had a wonderful time!

“Ever so Special”

The best

Cool Rooms Palacio de Atocha in Madrid was an exquisite experience for my family and me . The palace turned hotel is charming and romantically decorated. I loved being able to walk to different parts of city . Restaurants, coffee shops and variety of shopping are available near hotel. I enjoyed the different Christmas markets near hotel . Tourist attractions are easily within walking distance . Mostly, I was touched by the warm and gracious nature of the hotel staff. Abel, Domingo and Joel made our stay ever so special. They just want to make you happy . I was sad to say goodbye . And , don’t miss their restaurant. In fact , don’t miss staying here.

“Exceptional”

This hotel is a delightful surprise tucked away in Madrid's city center. Since it's not part of a well-known chain, they've poured extra care into room design and amenities to ensure guests feel satisfied and happy. The suite we booked was exceptionally spacious, and their sofa bed—which is actually a day bed—provided my 13-year-old daughter with a very comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom was exceptionally large, featuring brass fixtures throughout—evidence of the hotel's generous investment in design. Thoughtful touches like providing European plug adapters solved a common problem with a small gesture. Its prime location placed it within a 15-minute walk of any major attraction. Don't forget the front desk staff's warm hospitality and patient service—they even wrote down the names of the most popular restaurants in the area on a little card for us.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Large comfortable room with many elegant touches. Great location. Will definitely stay there again when in Madrid. Marmen Diaz and his team went above and beyond beyond to make our stay a great experience.
