Cortijo Calma - Countryside Peace & Tranquility

Dawn and Keith were so so amazing they couldn't do enough for us. The welcome we received was exceptional we felt part of their family we definitely have made friends for life The accommodation was amazing so clean and so comfortable everything you needed was there. It was so tranquil sitting outside with a glass of wine and all you can hear is the birds so peaceful. Dawn is very good at her massages I felt so relaxed after my facial and Keith is an amazing Baker One holiday we definitely didn't want to come home from

We loved absolutely everything about our stay here. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The place is incredibly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary facilities. The hosts greeted us warmly with the keys and a personal tour of the property, making us feel right at home. They also kindly offered us a selection of beverages upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including utensils and appliances, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the owners had already provided some essential items like coffee, tea, butter, and milk. This thoughtful gesture allowed us to settle in before having to go shopping for our own supplies, which made a huge difference. As for the surroundings, the peaceful atmosphere was perfect for unwinding and enjoying the beauty of nature. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners' adorable dogs, who added an extra dose of charm to the experience. Another standout feature was the terrace, complete with a jacuzzi and a cozy fireplace. The fact that we could use these as much as we wanted made the experience even more special. There's nothing like soaking in the jacuzzi under the stars :) The decor of the place was really cute. Everywhere you look, there’s a beautiful blend of plants and thoughtful touches that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Finally, the hosts were absolutely lovely. We really appreciated getting to know them a little, and their warmth and hospitality made the stay even more memorable. It’s clear they take great pride in their property and in making their guests feel comfortable and welcome. We can’t wait to return!

Splendid accommodation, in a wonderful rural setting

When we arrived at Cortijo Calma we were greeted by Dawn & Keith, who were very welcoming. The accommodation/ apartment we stayed in was absolutely stunning. It was a converted sheep pen and turned into a studio apartment. The interior of the apartment was very modern & contemporary which had every facility we required. The bathroom was to die for! There was a huge walk in shower. During are stay nothing was to much for Dawn & Keith. If we wanted a evening meal cooked we would book this the day before, and Dawn and Keith would cook the meal. We must admit the food was delicious and freshly prepared. What we also enjoyed was Dawn & Keith lovely dogs. We will definitely miss them all. We stayed for just over two weeks and we feel that we arrived as strangers and left as friends.
