“Magical, remote getaway with spacious settings and rural features”
The best

The Cortijo Doñana is a magical place in the middle of nowhere, hidden in between olive groves and with an infinite view into the stars at night. I celebrated my birthday there with 9 people and we had a wonderful time and so much space. The night skies are uncompared, you can see milky way from the garden. Another highlight is the fireplace in the living room which we used every evening and was so cozy. Good to keep in mind that in the Spanish country side the water from the tap is salty, so definitely good to bring enought water supplies. And also the WiFi and general mobile connection is weak so good for digital detox but not necessarily to work remotely which are the things that come with a wonderfully remote location.

To be improved

The kitchen space is quite small if you cook for 9 but absolutely manageable. Due to a storm the electricity circuit was a bit twitchy but nothing that wasn’t unmanageable and the hosts were very helpful. The pool is also rather small but the garden area is beautiful and grants lots of space to relax and unwind.
