“Beautiful villa, lovely tranquil location and refreshing pool”

The best

The house was very well laid out, we loved the terrace for meals, and the swimming pool with gate was an added bonus as we have small children. The pool was definitely the highlight! And some beautiful scenery and villages to explore locally, although you do need a car.

To be improved

Sorting sleeping arrangements for our 21 month old was a little tricky as there wasn't a cot, and no high chair or child-friendly seating, but it was manageable and didn't take away from our time.

“A wonderful stay in the Alpujarra”

The best

Wonderful rustic style house in the countryside outside Pitres. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful with fantastic views from the terrace. The interior is spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The host Adrian was very friendly and welcoming. The location is outstanding. Nearby Pitres has a supermarket, a bakery and some restaurants all within a few minutes' drive. Further afield, the road beyond Capeleira was a starting point for stunning mountain walks. Highly recommended!

“Superb”

The best

Traditional style Cortijo in a superb location. The house is in a rural area, quiet and peaceful with fantastic views. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen has everything and more you will ever need to cook. There is also an outdoor fireplace and grill which we used a couple of times. The garden and pool area are well maintained, there are many places to sit enjoy the view in sun or shade. We only used one bathroom which was large and very comfortable. During our stay the temperature at night dropped to about 10 but the house maintained a constant pleasant temperature. The host Adrian and his family are very friendly and accommodating.

To be improved

The road to the house is steep and narrow. Make sure you have a car which has enough horsepower and isn't too low (like mine) The beds are quite firm but that is personal.
