What can I say, in simplest term, we felt as if we were home. Shenton is an increedibly warm, welcoming and open host, who will take care of all and any questions you might have. He made one of the best scrambled eggs I have ever tried. Their dogs, Mias, Murphy and Ted, well they will steal your heart as they did ours. We spent the evenings in front of the fireplace, talking to Shenton, petting and playing with the dogs. We will definitely be back, as the area is not just wonderful, its mesmerizing. Clean, spacious, bed is incredible, best sleep of my life. in short, you´re home and you´re happy.

Shenton and Tracy welcomed us into their beautiful, cosy home. We loved the fireplace. We had dinner there every night (one of which was totally improvised and we really appreciate it). It was so, so delicious and portions were very generous. The breakfast was great too and they really adapted to our needs. We also loved the location. Ideal to go for a walk/run without taking the car since the cortijo is located on several walking trails! The pool looked dreamy so hopefully, we'll return and try it next time! This is a little treasure with Tracy and Shenton as wonderful hosts. Accommodation is off a beautiful courtyard with a cosy (fire in full flame) lounge downstairs and a sweet beamed ceiling bedroom upstairs. Special mention to that bed! Dream sleep and plenty of room to stretch, even for the plus 6 footer. The centre-piece is the magnificent infinite pool overlooking their glorious view. But, as always, the hosts make it really special with nothing too much trouble and a great chat. Luvved it! Tracy & Shenton's place is set in a beautiful location surrounded by olive groves. It's a short drive to nearest town and we were given a fantastic recommendation for a local restaurant - excellent prices and great food. Shenton & Tracy went above and beyond to accomodate us - they're both lovely and make you feel at home without being imposing. When staying you have sole use of the pool & hot tub. If you want a few days to chill in a tranquil environment then look no further and book this!
