The location is fantastic, a major positive aspect.
Despite issues, the overall experience was positive.

The amenities are generally nice, but some aspects are getting old.
“Secluded but in reach in town.”
The location was perfect. Secluded but easily in reach of Pollenca town. Lovely welcome pack of provisions. The property is wonderful with a mix of mod cons and traditional. Slept so well and woke up to sheep clucking and chickens bah-bah-ing in neighbouring fields. Not sure if that was due to my dream state or genetic modification? Only gesting! The animals looked some of the happiest creatures on earth. Just like me seeing the wonderful view, the clouds and weather looking different over the distant mountains, each morning. (Usually by this many syllables in the snap chat generation have wandered off, surfing other parts of the net. So if you are still there?) I love hills and mountains and the challenge of dragging my aging carcass up and down them. So this is the only thing I'd say some ( especially my compatriot beer swilling big Mac consuming Brits) might find a bit of a struggle. As for me and my tribe we were totally up for the little challenge of harvesting provisions and the walk back up the hill. My son and I loved the cycling after hiring road bikes. Wonderful climbing begins within 10 km and less. Very nice also to be away from too much light pollution like back home near London.
The weather was changeable but I never mind that too much as the fields in Mallorca were beautiful and green as a result. Got drowned like a rat one day when caught out cycling in it. There was literally nothing I didn't like but I'm not asking my wife as she likes a good moan these days. But then she does put up with me being a bit like the weather was. Stormy at times. All was actually wonderful. When one thinks to account for one's blessings.
“Amazing family villa feels rustic and remote but 10 mins walk to town.”
Superb property. Traditional spacious amazing pool. Extremely well equipped. 5-10 mins walk to centre. Excellent information and support in advance.
Nothing.

We missed a parasol at the pool. :)

“Lovely outside areas, comfy, well equiped villa in a good location.”
The villa is lovely and very well equiped. The outside areas were great, with plenty of different comfy seating areas. We were there in February and the villa is in the shade till the afternoon, but that is probably very welcome in the summer. The pool looked lovely, but we didn't go in as too cold this time of year. It is also very easy to walk into Pollensa (4 mins to supermarket and first restaurants and a few more minutes to the main square). The welcome pack was also very generous (Bread, tea, coffee, wine, water, milk, eggs, juice, ham, cheese, etc). I would recommend this villa.
We had a problem with the heating on the first night (definitely needed in February), however the hosts were very responsive and arrived the next morning to sort the issue. The air con/heaters in the bedrooms couldn't be fixed, but they provided us with plug in heaters which worked well. The units were then scheduled to be replaced the day after we left, so shouldn't be an issue going forward. In addition, there is a new pellet stove (rather than the log burner), which was very effective and made the place cosy. It would be good if the TV was upgraded to a Smart TV (to allow access to Netflix/Prime etc), could only find German and Spanish channels.
