“Disappointing Check-in Experience and Poor Support Despite a Nice Apartment”

The apartment itself was clean, well-equipped, and in a good location close to several attractions — but you definitely need a car to get around.

Unfortunately, the check-in process was extremely stressful. No one was physically present to welcome us or assist. We were informed that the host lives far away, and the person responsible for check-in had already left due to a doctor’s appointment. As we experienced delays coming from the airport. The instructions provided were unclear, the address was written incorrectly, and we had to walk around with children trying to locate the keys, the garage, and the entrance. It was exhausting and poorly managed. The apartment is also only accessible via many stairs, which made things very difficult with a stroller, kids, and luggage. One night, there was heavy rain and the balcony flooded because the drain was blocked. It became extremely slippery and dangerous, especially for children. When I contacted the person in charge, I was told to clean it myself because the host was too far away. After insisting that this was unacceptable, someone eventually came, but the balcony was left dirty and full of sand. For the price we paid, we expected a much smoother and safer experience. With better management and support, this property could be much more enjoyable.

Apartment has everything you could possibly need. Host thought of just about everything. Very homely apartment.

To be improved

The shower didn’t stay warm enough for long enough when showering. Would have rathered a powered shower system.
