The best

The location was perfect, very near to the main strip, so within walking distance of all the activities/nightlife. The apartment layout was great, with a double bed in the bedroom and a single bed on the terrace, a small but adequate kitchen, a small bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a lovely large lounge with a three-seater sofa and large-screen TV. The place was clean and tidy on arrival, so overall, a very nice place to stay. Note: there was no hairdryer.

To be improved

The host experience was less welcoming because the agent asked for a 200 euro security deposit in cash, which wasn't mentioned on the website when booking. When I told him this, instead of apologising/explaining the terms and conditions, he told me "that's the way we work", with no further explanation of why or how I would get my security deposit back. Luckily, after a call to booking.com, they called the agent and then called me back to say that I could be assured that it would be returned after property inspection on the day of departure. The agent had also forgotten to install the Wi-Fi, so we had to call him back to the apartment, wasting time as we wanted to go out at the time. He was consistently late, both for installing the Wi-Fi, and for the departure inspection (10 minutes turned into almost an hour each time).
