Cozy apartment in Playa Paraiso

The flat was infested by cockroaches, which appeared day amd night, got on beds amd tables and pool. The neighbourhood is bad, corridor had massive holes in the floor, house next door burned down, neighbours next door filthy and very loud early hours of the morning. It seemed like from a bad movie, I didnt feel safe or comfortable

They could do with replacing some of the kitchen crockery and utensils as was barely enough for 4 people as clearly some had been broken over time and not replaced. This was a minor point for us as was only 3 of us but would be an issue if there were 4+ people staying.

The place was infested with COCKROACHES. The building is very old with holes in the roof, the corridor is filthy, I found dog poo and half eaten slices of pizza, which doesn’t help with the general lack of hygiene which is very inviting for cockroaches. The next door neighbours start shouting around 6.45 am and they continue at some 10-11 at night. In the meantime there is a dog left alone in the house and the poor animal barks and cries all day long. I had COCKROACHES in the bed, on the coffee machine, in the cupboards, on the floors, walls, towels. I contacted Andres as advised by the owner but there was no response. I left the apartment earlier than planned and booked somewhere else. The owner contacted me after I left to say that pest control had been there for ‘one small insect’ which I find insulting as I was spending most time killing the cockroaches and not gathering them around and have them pose in order to validate my point regarding how many there were. However one of the neighbours decided to collect them all, alive, and put them in a bag and hang in on my door. What person in their right mind does this?!Of course the owner doesn’t have control over what the neighbours do but this was just disgusting. To all future tourists: I advise you check all reviews carefully and if you decide to book, hope you are cockroach free.

The building that the apartment is in is run down and grotty. Holes in the floors, dirty, lights not working. Very little soundproofing the neighbours are very very noisy shouting and dogs barking all day. The neighbours garden is horrible and not very pleasant to look at when enjoying the balcony. Only one sun lounger even though the apartment sleeps 4 we also had a problem with Cockcroaches one day my husband had to remove 5 from the apartment I believe this could be to do with the hygiene of the neighbours.
