-traffic at night -very bad sofa -bad knives in the kitchen

Since our ninth day cockroaches started to appear in the kitchen, even though we were careful to take out the trash daily and keep the flat clean. They seemed to be particularly attracted to chocolate, better keep it in a plastic container. Generally we saw many cockroaches in Tenerife, it was our first stay in Tenerife, so not sure if this is normal. There where many in the building, mostly we only saw poisoned ones on the floor near the entrance. The flat had been cleaned well and I suppose the cleaning lady puts some stuff against the cockroaches but we stayd for 13 days, so it was probably no longer effective. Luckily, it seems we didn't bring them back home but we had to be really careful when packing. This was a very unpleasant experience. * The apartment is on the ground floor, so you either need to use shades all the time or be ok with people walking just behind your windows. * The sofa and armchair were awful (very used with stains and permanent dirt) and uncomfortable - we would find it better not to have any sofa and armchair than these. * Some things didn't function properly - two missing lightbulbs, shades in the bedroom can't be put up properly, switching on the oven caused problems with electricity.
