“The most beautiful place to switch off”

The farmhouse is so quaint and cosy. It’s set in a beautiful part of the countryside. Very quiet and peaceful. The owners were very attentive and helpful. The farmhouse has been beautifully and tastefully decorated. It has everything you need and our kids just loved the pool. The outdoor area for eating and sitting out is just lovely too. We had a wonderful stay while visiting to attend La rapa da bestas in Sabucedo

To be improved

You need to have a car and not mind driving but that was not a negative for us in the slightest - allows you to see places on the journey. Just something people should be aware of. Definitely visit a supermarket and stock up before you arrive so you can truly switch off and not need to travel to get things

“Exceptional”

The best

This really is a wonderful house. It’s one of the best places we have stayed in a long time. The house is gorgeous and the private outdoor space makes it really special. It had everything we needed and the generous welcome basket was very much appreciated. The area around the property is stunning. Lots of great walks with the dog. Unlike many places we have stayed, we were not asked to pay additional charges for bringing our dog. The owners replied immediately to any questions and the local host also popped by to check everything was ok. We are looking forward to coming back.

“Superb”

The best

The house is very cozy and cute. The location is beautiful and peaceful. And the house is very well equipped, they thought about everything. Ana is supportive and answers quickly. We were sleeping great.

To be improved

They are new in renting during the winter period and the house needs some time to get warm. We were there in Dec and it took a day to get to the desired temperature, so preheating would be great. But when asked for help they were very responsive. There is also a high humidity in the house, and this could be resolved upfront
