“Cons: The terrace and terrace furniture was all dirty. The large TV took up the whole of the top of the dressing table and was infront of a mirror, there was a step up into the bathroom. The breakfast selection was a bare minimum and badly laid out with some facilities broken”

“Authentic and traditional but not a fancy hotel”
The best

Hotel is in a great location and an impressive old building. I wouldn’t describe as four star and is in need of updating, but on a Sunday night for £50 it was great value and we had a lovely time. Staff were very helpful. Would return if the price was right.

The best

Delightful hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff, we enjoyed it so much we returned in the same month! It is an old hotel - so not fancy rooms, but pleasant and great views over the pool, which is well maintained. Good location - easy walk to train station. Good spot to be based at for the sheery triangle!

To be improved

Room very dated and in need to refurbishing . We had mould in the bathroom ceiling. Fridge did not work properly. Drinks were not cold. Shower not sealed properly and every time we showered there was water everywhere. Air conditioning unable to regulate making the room too cold.
