Cueva El Parral

One of the best places we've stayed in Spain. This is an authentic cave house, not like the fake cave hotels in Turkey. It is very clean and comfortable and so unique. The shower is great, kitchen is well stocked with pots, dishes, utensils to make a small meal. The bed is very comfortable. The views of the hills and town are stunning. Access is tricky but the host meets you in town so you can follow her up to the cave. The streets in town are quite narrow as with many older towns in Spain, but we managed. You can park right at the cave or a little below which is easier to reach by car. There's no wifi, but our Vodafone worked well. The host is very helpful and speaks a little English. We would definitely stay here again.

One of the most interesting and best locations I have ever stayed. Wonderful views every morning and evening. Very comfortable and warm as the property is underground. Will definitely be back.

This quaint cave house is beautifully presented and it was a joy to stay in it for a night en route to Malaga. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. It was perfect for our dog and we loved the tranquility and the vista, and also enjoyed talking to the goats below us. We will definitely return.
