We liked the quirkyness of the hotel. The room was small but cool and quiet. The location is great for touring the mountains. The young lady who served us breakfast was lovely.

To be improved

We waited until 8pm for the restaurant to open but it remained shut, fortunately a customer told us it wasn't opening so we walked into town and fortunately found a restaurant open and a shop to buy water. A simple note on the door would have been helpful. Other than the young lady at breakfast, we saw no staff. Entering the room with the electronic system was difficult, I am hard of hearing and couldn't hear the digits bleeping, and my phone wouldn't open the lock.

“We would definitely book again, but for two nights at least”

It was perfect for two couples traveling together ……. We had the three bed two bath cave.

To be improved

Nothing. . .but we wish we had arrived during daylight! And we forgot to take pictures! We took the pictures off the website of our cave.

“Perfect for me”
The best

Everything is perfect ! I was upgraded. And he allowed me to stay after the checkout time. Very quiet in the winter. The natural area behind the complex is excellent for hiking, mountain biking and in my case orienteering. It is very quiet too.

To be improved

Public transport to Benalua is scarce, only one train in day time, no bus.
