Bed bugs (room number 5 with private toilet). It was the last day of my trip and I wanted privacy and comfort to end the trip, only to be woken up by bed bugs full of my blood. I didn't see any bed bugs in the previous albergues I stayed during the trip and expect this more expansive room would only have a higher standard in cleanliness, but unfortunately it is not the case. Now back home it takes me extra effort to make sure I'm not bringing bed bugs and eggs to my home. Access to the room is not straightforward, but luckily I didn't face too many difficulties because I put all the info in the link before arrival and got some help from other people who were struggling with the same problems with all the luggage in front of the door of the building. The private toilet is not in the best condition, with black mould and rusted handles.

I absolutely hate the online check in. When you arrive hot and tired. there is nowhere to sit and sort out the form. The online registration didn’t accept my id card several times. So I had to call. The room didn’t have a window that opened, no ventilation and no a/c. I would only recommend staying if the weather is cool outside as I baked.

The check in process was just to complex with a very poor explanation of how the process worked. It wasn't until after 3pm, the check in time, that their app started to make sense. But it took 3 of us at the door to figure out how to get in, one of whom was Spanish and didn't get their explanations which were a mixture of English and Spanish. Very poor experience.
