The host left some local food along with some cereal and coffee, they also left other tea bags and condiments from other stays that could be used if required

great apartment, very well equipped, from the street you can feel the rhythm of Spanish life😁 restaurant for dinner and the ocean, just a few steps away. The hostess Elisabeth served excellent Canarian dishes.

It's a small, very clean and cosy appartement that offers everything you need to enjoy an awesome holiday! Castillo del Romeral is a little, very authentic spanish town, where you have direct access to the sea, supermarkets, always enough parking spots for free and some restaurants (personal recommendation: Saliviento). Elisabeth is a really, really nice host that welcomed us even with little presents and made us enjoy our holiday even more. Muchas gracias!

Eli and her family went over and above with their hospitality. The modern appartement is clean, fresh, inviting and homely and it was a home away from home. You’ll have all necessary utensils for cooking, 4 burner electric hobs (no oven or microwave) there is a washing machine and a larger then required fridge- freezer, iron and ironing board. The bathroom is compact but comfortable and modern. To reach the loft style bedroom you climb the cast iron spiral staircase which is easy and safe to navigate. The bed was firm and the bedside tables have lights to help navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. Eli is very knowledgeable and passionate about her home island and gave suggestions on a number of places to visit; hikes and tours to go on as well as the best pizza places. Buses to Las Palmas and other connections are available a short walk from the apartment and there is a number of parking places near the apartment if coming by car. The town itself is very quaint and charming, I met mostly locals while I visited and it is perfect if you’re looking for a property away from the busy tourist areas. The beach is situated one street away from the property and there are a number of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets to buy groceries. There were some items I couldn’t find at the local supermarket, but if you require a larger selection I recommend going to a larger supermarket outside Castillo del Romeral. I had a lovely relaxing stay, I would recommend and visit again.

Beautifully laid out and well equipped studio with modern, tasteful furnishings. Just perfect for one person but would be equally so for two. A lovely, warm welcome from the host who throughout struck the perfect balance between being available but not intrusive. Castillo is a lovely place with a sweet beach area and a excellent restaurants.
