Dear Hotel Madrid

The location is incredible and very walkable. The rooms are nice, modern and comfortable. The staff (especially at breakfast) are really friendly. Breakfast itself has a lot of options.The views from the high floor rooms and the rooftop are unbelievable. The only downside is that the rooftop can get very cold and windy depending on the season so if you want to grab a drink indoors, you'll have to look elsewhere outside the hotel. There’s no indoor or lobby bar. Other than that, very nice hotel. Would recommend!

This hotel truly deserves a five-star review. Its location on Gran Vía is simply unbeatable, right in the heart of Madrid, making it the perfect base to explore the city. The service is impeccable from start to finish, with attention to detail that makes every guest feel valued. A special mention goes to the restaurant staff, who are not only highly professional and efficient but also incredibly warm and welcoming. In particular, I would like to thank Mateo, Jeorge, and the entire breakfast team. Starting the day with their kindness and genuine smiles makes all the difference—they create an atmosphere that instantly puts you in a good mood. The rooftop is another highlight of this hotel: easily one of the most rooftop in Madrid, offering a stunning setting to relax and enjoy the view. An outstanding experience overall—highly recommended.

Reminded of a mid tier hotel in NYC. Front desk staff was great but downhill from there. Stains on carpet, funky sewer smell through, broken doors to bath and a toilet seat 2’ from the pillow if the bed. Great location but mid tier at best. Wont be back

Since our arrival, the attention was impeccable. We especially want to highlight Gianmarco, who received us with great kindness and warmth, making us feel very welcome from the first moment. The hotel is in an unbeatable location, very central and close to everything, which made it much easier to get around the city. Our room had an incredible view of Plaza España, which made the experience even more special. We also loved the breakfast buffet: very delicious and with several options to choose from, ideal to start the day with energy. Without a doubt, an excellent option to stay in Madrid. We highly recommend it!

I had a reservation at Dear Hotel Madrid for late March 2026. Due to the war-related situation in Israel and the sudden closure of airspace, my flights were cancelled by the airline, leaving me physically unable to travel to Madrid. I fully understand that my booking was non-refundable. However, this was not a routine cancellation or a change of plans out of convenience. I contacted Agoda well in advance, provided full documentation, and also reached out directly to the hotel, including management. Despite these exceptional circumstances, no flexibility or meaningful alternative was offered, not even partial credit for a future stay. While Agoda made efforts to assist, the hotel maintained a completely rigid position throughout. This experience left me with a very strong sense of disappointment. In difficult situations, you learn a great deal about how a business chooses to treat people. Unfortunately, my impression is that this hotel showed very little understanding, discretion, or humanity when it was most needed. After the way this was handled, I would not choose to stay at this hotel in the future, and I would not recommend it to others.

Amazing! The hotel is very small and great. It's located in Gran Via 80, and it's close to the monuments and squares. The staff is very kind, and it's always here to help you 😀. The rooms are nice, cozy and they have a great view on a city. I reccomend it!
