Deluxe El Palo Playa Apartment with parking

This was by far the worst experience with a booking I've ever had. Make sure you read every little detail in the full description because there were so many hidden costs. Also the security deposit is obsurd: 300 euros that must be a transfer and only get refunded if you provide them with your bank information correctly and will take 7-14 days. We paid for a two bedroom place but they locked one of the bedrooms. The Ad also says parking included but the parking was 20$ extra each day. The place smelled so bad of cigarettes and even found a full have burned cigarette in the night stand. The AC was leaking and the shower ceiling had water leakage so was disgusting. Any time I had a complaint they just said that they would let their cleaning crew know or the property manager know but it was hard to get them to do anything for us in the moment. I'm not really someone that suffers from back pain but the bed and the couch was rock solid and gave me such bad back pain the first 5 days. There was dust everywhere and only provided two towels and 3 toilette paper rolls for 10 days. No vacuum or paper towels. DO NOT STAY HERE. You can get your money's worth elsewhere.

HORRIBLE We spent 3 weeks traveling in Spain, we stayed in 7 different locations and it was the only location we regreted that we stayed. If you can avoid it - please, don't bother to stay here. It will be the only review from our holiday in Spain I write so that the others don't have the experiece we had. We specifically filtered the listings with free parking, because we had a car and it that was the only benefit which was needed, so we picked location to stay based on that filter. When we arrived we were told that the parking is only available of you pay 20eur per night. According to a agency it is in the discription (we never had to read the discriptions, but now we will start to do so) They ask for 300eur damage deposit. It is hidden in the "Important information" section. We didn't know about it either. Once you book the room, you get the sms with details how to transfer the money. You can't cancel the booking, so you have to pay. The deposit can be held for 14 WORKING DAYS. The living room and the kitchen has terrible smell of old cigarette smoke. Don't know what's the reason behind it, the smell doesn't go away even if you open the window for a longer period of time. It's in the walls, curtains, furniture, canvas paintings. AC is not working. It turns on with a terrible sound and it stays on 18 degrees. We even read the manual of the AC and tried to reprograme ot, but it didn't work. It was during the winter season, so we had to stay in cold and weren't able to heat the apartment. No sound isollation, you can hear everything from the above, below, staircase. It is a very big building, so a lot of neighboirs passing by and you can hear everything. Check in is only at 16:00. When I called to get the code to get in I was informed that only when I stand at the door of the building I will get the information to get in.

The company running the apartment is rude and misleads you changing terns and then will cancel your stay and say its a mistake then charge you a no stay fee within minutes of checking our. Beware they are scammers. Also says parking included its not.
