• The apartment is very close to the train station, making arrivals and departures easy. • Luna was friendly and smiling when she came in the evening to give us the keys. • Given Madrid’s ridiculously high accommodation costs, the level of quality had to be expected. • A big comfortable double bed, and a single bed with another one under it.

To be improved

• If you check in late, you have to wait at the door for someone to bring the keys; Rafa was responsive by message but never showed up. • We found bugs on the kitchen counter and had to kill cockroaches two nights in a row—and buy insect spray ourselves. • There was no hand soap provided, and a greasy, dirty pan was left in the oven. • The room is extremely small, in a basement with no windows—dark, airless, and very cold; the heater barely worked. • The “terrace” shown in photos is actually just the interior area in front of the apartment entrance.

“Superb”

The best

Nice friendly people, the appartement is not so big but has all the facilities you need. Close to the metrostation, in five minutes you’re in the city center. In front there is a bar restaurant where you can eat and drink for almost nothing. When I come back to Madrid this is the location I want.
