Too stuffy, really humid, too hot couldn’t sleep well

Dampness, lots of wood rot and mould. Ceilings were extremely low hit head various times. The stair case has no aprópiate railings for safety the bars are easily over 200mm wide not kid safe at all .. a serious accident waiting to happen

I worried about the steep steps for my 5 year old and twin 2 year olds. They navigated them fine, but there was no railing obviously in the pictures , so I figured we could handle it for 3 nights. I did worry quite often though because if they tripped, it could have been bad.

The bedroom is in a mezzanine, which is about 1.5 m high. So that's pretty cramped and uncomfortable. But worse is the aeration. The air conditioner downstairs does not help. Perhaps making an opening from the mezzanine (extractor fan) coupled with the air con could give some relief. But I think the best thing would be to supply a comfortable double sofa bed downstairs.
