Dña Monse Hotel Spa & Golf

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, really relaxing stay for a reasonable price. Room for one was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with gluten free bread available. Massage I booked was excellent 👌 Wouldn't hesitate to come back, just be aware it isn't the most central but perfect for a retreat.

Great experience, lovely room and the roof top swimming pool had an amazing vibe

I arrived at the hotel without difficulty, but there were no signs indicating parking facilities. I inquired and was informed that parking was free outside or a daily fee of €6 could be paid to use the hotel underground car park. Once parked, I entered the lobby which was clean and well-maintained. I made a swift booking for a double bed room but was unfortunately allocated a two single bed room pushed together, which I found inconvenient. The room had a pleasant view of the lakes and was clean. The bathroom was clean but the showerhead was clogged and inoperative. The air conditioning was set to 20°C which I found excessively warm. For a hotel offering air conditioning, I expected the temperature to be adjustable to suit the guest’s preference. In my own UK home, I set my air conditioning to 16°C daily, which I find a comfortable temperature. However, the hotel did not allow me to change the setting. This issue significantly affected my sleep as the room was too hot and I frequently awoke. Consequently, I would not consider staying at this hotel again.

Just been for breakfast lot of food lying out - however stone cold. Surprised food strangers allows this . Asked for fresh eggs they arrived and didn’t look cooked! Was really disappointing as we were pleased with the over decor etc of the hotel. Breakfast has really dampened the experience !

We had a 3 day break at the hotel Doña Monse over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. We had a very spacious clean room with a view towards the pink Lagoon. The room had a huge bed which was extremely comfortable, ensuring we had a really good nights sleep and the modern bathroom was excellent. We booked half board and found the breakfast had everything you would need and we had enjoyable evening dinners with a good choice each night. The only negative was that the plates for dinner were never heated and consequently within a short time the meals went cold very quickly. I never understand why plates aren’t heated when serving hot food as it makes such a difference to the enjoyment of the meal. It was such a shame as apart from this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were very pleasant and there was a spa which we unfortunately didn’t try this time. There was also free parking outside of the hotel with further paid parking in an underground garage. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

This Hotel is situated in a great location & offers stunning views across the lakes & orange groves, spotlessly clean & friendly staff. Decent restaurant & bar, amazing swimming pool & cocktail / food bar on the roof, must be best views on this coast. Everything was fine during our families stay there & only a short cab ride to the pretty historic town centre of Torrevieja & marinas, San Miguel was only 5 mins away.
