“Very good”
“Nice apartment with shortcomings”
Check-in from 7:30 p.m. The check-in process was impersonal, which was convenient, because the key was in a box in front of the building, and the entrance to the apartment was via a code on the door handle. The apartment is located on the first floor of the building, and its layout included a living room combined with a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. The kitchen lacked basic accessories such as coffee, tea or sugar - in the kitchen there were two coffee capsules, four bags of teas and 3 bags of sugar. So you have to buy your own tea, coffee and sugar. The apartment rental does not include a catering offer, but the lack of these basic products, especially for a short stay, had a negative impact on the stay. The kitchen was quite well equipped, had good appliances such as a fruit juicer, but lacked, for example, a knife for spreading butter. This made it difficult to prepare simple meals. Additionally, the kitchen lacked napkins and paper towels, which made it difficult to use the space on a daily basis. There was only one garbage bag. There were no bags for segregation. I threw out all the garbage myself. The owner of the apartment made the booking process difficult for us. Instead of communicating via the Booking platform, as is usually the case, he demanded that we provide a phone number for contact via the WhatsApp application. This was inconvenient in itself, but on top of that he required filling out a form that had to be printed and signed. Due to the lack of access to a printer, this was inconvenient for me. In addition, the owner demanded more data than was necessary. On the plus side, there was convenient parking - there were free parking spaces under the block, which made everyday parking easier. The town of La Restinga has its charm - a scene for the movie "El Hierro" was filmed there, and the place itself is distinguished by an interesting small port and a picturesque, although small, beach.
There was one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom - for two people from Friday to Tuesday. There was no supply of toilet paper, which should be a basic thing that should be provided in a rented apartment. In the bedroom, there was no duvet on the beds, only an openwork bedspread, which was not hygienic, because there was no duvet cover. There was an additional blanket, but despite this it was very cold at night, which worsened the comfort of sleep. As for the surroundings, the area itself was quiet, but unfortunately a noisy neighbor, who in the morning would start and warm up his diesel for a dozen or so minutes and talk loudly to his neighbors, spoiled this silence. It was quite inconvenient, especially in the morning.
“Nice well-equipped apartment..”
The apartment was clean, comfortable, well-equipped and conveniently located.
The view from the balcony is hardly inspiring but not an inconvenience. Although well-equipped, some of the cooking utensils were huge for just two or three guests. More intimate lighting, a small floor lamp for example, and a small coffee table would be nice improvements.
“Good for 2 and for short stay”
A small but well equipped apartment in La Restinga. Good for a short stay for 2 people. Easy to park a car next to the building, close to anywhere in the village.
The balcony is very small and almost imposible to use, as it faces other balconies just a few meters away (even less than one meter in one case), so there is no privacy at all. The street is very narrow and was noisy at times, even in January
“Everything is fantastic!”
Everything was perfect with the apartment. It had a great location, minutes from the sea front and was the best equipped apartment I have ever stayed in. Our communication with the host was also brilliant. He was kind and thoughtful without being intrusive and checked during the week that everything was ok. Everything from the wonderful washing machine, grills, mixers and blenders to the induction cooker and wide range of crockery was fantastic. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony for our evening meal. It was all lovely and we would love to come back.
There was nothing we didn’t like. We knew that it faced north and didn’t have a sea view so this was not a problem.
“Short break on a beautiful island.”
A well equipped and modern apartment with comfortable beds. Located on the first floor and accessible by lift if needed. The location was perfect, in a quiet area in a really nice village on the coast. Easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, and supermarkets.
