“Pretty facility but location issues to be aware of”

The host was friendly and tried to be helpful. We communicated with a translation app. The beds were comfortable. The house was lovely. We were there for one night.

To be improved

The main problem we had was with transportation. The host said this is not normally an issue and I believe her. But we could not get a taxi in the morning to the airport because of Carnival. This is not her fault. We should have looked up the bus schedule the night before just in case but we were assured taxis wouldn't be a problem so we didn't worry about it. When we could not get a taxi to come by the time we checked the bus schedule it was only a couple minutes away and missed it. We ended up walking with our luggage in the rain 2.7 km. We very nearly missed our flight. This location would be fine if you have a rental car or plan ahead in case taxis are not available.
