Duplex Avenida

The kitchen wasn't clean - toaster and cupboard were full of leftover pastry. There is no dish drainer.

Unfortunately, our stay was far from satisfactory, which was quite disappointing given our positive experiences during the rest of our travels through Spain. Upon arrival, we encountered several issues with the apartment, including: - Trash in the kitchen window, which the owner claimed was left by a neighbor. - A pervasive bad smell throughout the apartment. - Only two dirty towels were provided for our family of four. - The master bedroom closet was being used for storage, and the owner advised us not to use it. - A noticeable humidity smell in the master bedroom. There's a restaurant below the apartment, whose kitchen exhaust system was positioned directly into the living room and master bedroom windows, causing the entire apartment to SMELL LIKE FRENCH FRIES. Despite reporting these problems to the property owner immediately after check-in and filing a claim with Booking, we did not receive a reasonable response (by the way spent almost an hour on the phone with Booking.com customer service and haven't heard back from them) We had to stressfully search for a new place to stay on a Sunday night, which fortunately resulted in finding an excellent alternative in a better and cheaper location (Ventura 2 - Centric & Pool - SimplyTarifa). We kindly request that you reconsider the waiver. We CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY due to the owner's lack of response and the distress caused to my family, but the property owner refused to do so. I recommend checking the pics attached to this review.
