“With a little bit of maintenance this could be a great place”

The best

Florita (the owner) and Pepi (who met us) were both just great. The apartment is on two levels, with the bedrooms, bathroom and terrace upstairs. The terrace is very nice. The other bedroom is for one person, which makes this a very suitable place for a couple with a third person. There is a parking lot in the basement. The Internet was fast and reliable.

To be improved

The double bed is rather narrow and has a joint blanket, which is a bit inconvenient. The terrace has some old stuff lying around, and the yawning has seen better days. Also, trees are rooting in the seams. When we arrived (in January) the place was very cold and slightly damp. The two heat pumps were both out of order, and the only thing to warm up with was an electric 'hearth', which was not very effective and made a loud noise. The next day we found an electric radiator in the closet of the spare bedroom and got the place warm. There was a fixed electric radiator in the bedroom, so that we could sleep. Warm water was heated with gas and hard to use. When the shower was cut off, even for a brief moment, it would not come back on again. Then we found, that by opening the hot water in the kitchen (downstairs), you will again have hot water also in the shower. The water pressure was lowered from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. You could still wash your hands or flush the toilet but not take a shower. The parking lot was very narrow, as usual in Spain. It seems like the place has not been maintained for a while, and with a small effort it would be great.

“Modern apartment not far from Gibraltar border.”

We enjoyed the top terrace. Modern. Short 5€ taxi ride to the Gibraltar border, this was great because we were attending a wedding.Coffee machine. Clean spare towels.Sea views.

To be improved

Previous guests wash sponges were left there hanging in the bathroom. Should be thrown but not a big issue.

On a couple of nights there was noise disturbance from adjacent neighbours during the early hours.
