Duplex in Gracia

False advertising--it's not an apartment, and it does not have two bedrooms. It is a small corner store that has been lightly reformed to serve as a temporary dwelling. The two sleeping areas are openly connected to each other and to the kitchen and living/dining room, meaning there is zero possibility of privacy inside the dwelling. Two huge, floor-to-ceiling doorways (one now converted to a "window" which must always remain closed and covered) open directly onto a busy intersection, meaning there is zero possibility of privacy from the outside. Aside from bathrooms, there is effectively one room only. It much more resembles a hotel room with a kitchenette, than an apartment. It is deceptive to advertise it as an apartment, and deceptive to advertise it as having 2 bedrooms and a living area, when they are all combined. To be fully honest, it would also be necessary to advertise the fact that this is a converted corner store with effectively ZERO separation from the busy intersection on which it sits. The doors and all the windows are covered with "TOURISTS GO HOME" graffiti, and, frankly, the management of the dwelling seem to take the same attitude. They provided insufficient toilet paper and towels, forcing us to purchase our own, and it was a hassle to get them to send someone to fix the bathroom sink which was clogged when we arrived. Their communications with us were unsympathetic and at times condescending. The location is deep inside Gracia far from public transit but a feasible (long) walking distance from some major and minor attractions such as Park Guell and the charming shops and plazas of Gracia itself. I can certainly see how this property could appeal to a group of young single people who were in town to party and/or discover the city. But it does NOT offer the comfort or the amenities of a 2 bedroom apartment, despite being advertised as such.

the bathroom sink on the second floor was not working properly and water stagnates before being evacuated. The kitchen lacks pot lids and pasta drainer which makes cooking difficult . The hair dryer does not work and the shutter in the bedroom was broken which made Impossible to have full light .
