Dynamic Hotels Caldetes Barcelona

We came up from Barcelona for a quick getaway in the week. The deal was very good, and from the minute we arrived the service was impecable, with every member of staff friendly and helpful and seemingly willing to do whatever it took to help. We were allowed early check in and late check out as the hotel was quiet in the week, and the meals we had were very good, and we even got shunted up to a superior room. The village itself is very cute, and it's easy to explore the village and stroll down to the beach from the hotel. There's a decent gym there for the more active, and some great views from the hotel. It's true that the walls are a little thin for the lighter sleepers, so one does tend to hear other guests or staff moving about the hotel but all in all a highly recommendable hotel and the care shown by the staff outweighs everything else.

The old awful hotel jet has been taken over However the dynamic appears short of money and is relying on paying guests to finish the rooms which have no black out blinds, fridges, done pretty shoddy tiling and grouting , tv not wired into wall, a shower head which slides down the wall and the design of the shower if one leans too far towards the wall to avoid water spilling on the floor the handle of the shower is pressed off ! The beds are comfy but there are duvets in the wardrobes for the cooler months - they have no covers on them so assume everyone will use the same duvet minus a cover which isn't hygienic.. They provide eyeshades to help block out the 6am sunlight but you have to ask for them and then decide whether you are staying in a hotel or camping. The rooms have A/C but there are no safes and the hotel has no safe so all valuables including passports need to be taken everywhere which is annoying The first floor rooms are noisy from the street and reception noise carries and noise from adjacent rooms can be dealt with by a bang on the wall/ Breakfast was included in the expensive rates of £430 for 4 nights It consisted of rationed croissants pieces of cut meat and cheese fruit and some breads and cereals. I was offered one coffee- It would cost 10 euro it is worth 5 and I do not recommend it- there was no butter when I stayed only margarine- which I asked for on day 1 but none materialised by day 4 some days the outside terrace tables were set for breakfast other days they were not/ quite inconsistent Positives : friendly staff Negatives: hotel not finished and rates too expensive not reflecting this Would I return? Probably no

This is a new hotel just 2 minutes from the beautiful Caldes beach . Beautiful minimalist design room with super comfy memory foam bed. The staff are amazingly friendly and the view from the restaurant is crazy. Also need to mention the special menu from the chef... good job and congrats to the team. Will definitely come back again.

We booked the dynamic hotel by default as most hotels were full due to Grand Prix. And boy were we lucky the hotel is clean, friendly, great value for money with great friendly helpful staff. And to top it off the food is exceptional 👍
