The best

The place is very clean and comfortable and the staff friendly-especially Marco. It’s also very accessible to Barcelona-Sants train station. 12pm checkout is a bonus.

To be improved

There was a plumbing issue that was getting fixed that day otherwise all was fine.

“Ideal for train travellers and people with some mobility issues”

The best

We used the disabled room as a a little family unit and it worked perfectly for us as a stop over on a long train journey all the way back to UK from Cadiz. Liked the big bathroom and way we could get in and out to Barcelona-Sants easily. Really liked the eco, green ideas at the hostel and we tried not to leave too much of a carbon footprint.

To be improved

Nothing really. We did get quite a few emails that went to the junk folder and missed some about checking in online, (or forgot, sorry Marco) , until we had nearly arrived in Barcelona

“I'd recommend this place”

The best

A little bit noisy at night, but otherwise good. The hostel staff very helpful and refunded the second charge that was made.

Dirty, cockroach in the room i did not sleep at all. When i got here around midnight the lights were left on in the room and window wide open so lots of flying bugs in the room. I Tried to contact somebody about dirty room as i didnt feel comfortable in there after seeing cockroach but nobody on the front desk and no reply to email yet since ive left i have had at least 10 emails asking me to review but not a single reply to my email about dirty room.

“Great location. Very basic but clean”

The best

Very close indeed to Barcelona Sants railway station. Clean with effective air conditioning. Although expensive it was cheap compared to other hotels in close proximity to the station.

To be improved

I hardly saw a human being. Because of train delays I had to check in online and let myself in via a door code. I left just before 9am the following day and the only person there was a cleaner who was talking on her mobile. Never saw anyone on reception.

“The staff was very nice in the hotel and the rooms are comfotable, but .. · Cons: Already when you enter the hotel you can smell moldy air throughout the hotel. My room smelled completely moldy and there was black mold in between the tiles. My room had a big window so I turned of the air con and opened the window permanently to not take harm. I added some pictures below. I cannot say anything about the other rooms. Mold is not healthy when it thrives...”

My room had a big window so I turned of the air con and opened the window permanently to not take harm. I added some pictures below. I cannot say anything about the other rooms. Mold is not healthy when it thrives...
