“A really poor experience from start to finish!”

The location of the property was good with a view of Sagrada Famillia.

The whole experience with Easy Sleep was the worst I have ever had when booking a holiday. There is no prepayment option for the property and the team advise a “link” will be sent prior to completing the booking. As advised a link was sent via booking.com and €700 was taken from my account which was than identified as fraudulent. There was no communication sent by Easy Sleep, and no support when finalising my booking in what was an extremely stressful time. I requested to pay my remaining balance at check in to avoid any further possible scams, this was met with reluctance and then when we arrived at the property the staff then took a further €300 security deposit and advised the money would be “held” and released on Monday 28th August. My friend speaks Spanish and this was confirmed at check in, however following checkout the €300 was taken and we were then advised by booking.com it will be returned to us between 8 and 14 days. The staff didn’t respond or send any information during our stay or at check out to advise us on anything. The lift was also broken at check in and no one informed us, despite the main office being one street away from Easy Sleep Eixample. We contacted the team once we arrived at Easy Sleep Eixample and were told we had to walk 6 flights of stairs with our belongings, and there was no apology. The lift is extremely old and continued to get stuck during our stay so we were unable to use it. Carrying large suitcases up and down that many flights of stairs was difficult and not what you would expect after paying so much to stay at the property. I wouldn’t recommend this property, and would look to the many alternatives in the area!
