Where do I begin ? We booked last minute, and arrived at 8:30 pm. Fairly easy to communicate with, but we waited 45minutes for the manager to let us in the apartment. He didn’t seem thrilled about showing us the apartment, which is fine with me, as I’d rather have a key code and avoid the needless interaction with someone who goes through the motions. The funny thing is, when you enter the apartment, you almost walk into a wall. The manager told us the usual, if there’s a problem text, if it’s a big problem - call. Kind of obvious but, okay….He also randomly told me that we would not run out of hot water because they have an electric water heater- okay.,.. I found that odd, that he’d mention that. I was right, because the first shower I took, guess what ? I ran out of hot water. I messaged the next day, he said the maintenance person would fix the problem. They didn’t, we had to take super fast showers the entire time ( 4 nights). Also there was an apartment somewhere in the building that sounded like a techno club, the first two nights until 4:00am. I messaged about that and I was told that his company only manages two apartments in the building. When I asked if he could contact the other property managers to solve the noise problem, he did not reply. I will say the apartment was in a great location. The pictures were spot on, but pictures don’t tell the whole story. The couch was not comfortable- at all. It must be the lowest cost one that was available. The beds were not comfortable, and the mattresses had plastic covers on them so every time you moved you could hear them and feel them crinkle under you. Also, the bed sheets did not smell or feel super clean and fresh. It’s like the cleaning staff decided they weren’t too bad from the previous guest, so they didn’t wash them. The shower in one of the bathrooms also leaked from under the shower floor, onto the bathroom floor; that can be dangerous.
